But only an experienced photographer can capture the right stands along with right locations. If we follow some simple steps of photography, than may you will get the best results.
Here we go€¦
Location
First, choose a location that has best look, purely to add to the affecting depth of the shot. You can also use the garden of a family member as well as a standpoint that overlooks a city. Shooting family photograph is just an experienced work; as well we need to avoid the distractions in the background while capture any photo.
Smile and lighting Arrangement
Try to positioning the shot; it's necessary to sure that your family don't facing the sun; else you'll have a shot full of squinting faces. Likewise, avoid the camera facing the sun as it will make shadows against your photographs, so your aim should set up within which the family is stand on to the natural light.
Focus On Group Photographs
Try to manage all members in a well defined group, because as the photographer, it's up to you manage the members. Make sure that you have got everyone in the frame, smiling and generally being attentive about them.
If you want to go in the shot, set up your camera on a tripod, also make sure there is a spot for you in the group shot.
Small Group Portrait Shots
Instead of capturing the complete family in one large shot, it would be great to work with smaller family groups. Because it will give you more freedom to cater the shots to their needs with more options for locations, angles and the style of shots. Make small family groups and capture as fit to your frames.
Capture Personal Moments
Try to catch those moments when members are working in and around the family; because it can help you to get some reportage style shots. Or working disjointedly, like you would at a marriage reception, captures those interactions between them.
Natural moments can often describe people at their most relaxed time, beside those closest to them.
