Jack is about one year old in this photo. He found his way to our doorstep last November, and all our efforts to find his owners failed - another case of a cat adopting an owner! He's fabulous, fearless, endlessly curious, and even affectionate at times. My lifelong love affair with cats and knowledge of cat behavior assures me Jack will develop into one of those soul-mate animals that looks into my eyes and reads my mind.

These are just a few of the names I call him on a daily basis: Little Jackie Chan, Jackaroo, Just Jack (of course!), Jack Spratt, Jack in the Box (when he's in one), Wacky Jackie . . . I could go on! I never realized Jack is such a versatile name.
