    • 1). Fill a cleaning bucket with hot water and powdered oxygen bleach. Use the ratio specified on the container of oxygen bleach, which often recommends 1 cup bleach per 1 gallon water.

    • 2). Dip a mop in the bucket and wipe a coating of the liquid over the grout. Leave behind a thin layer of standing water so the grout stays wet. Let the cleaner work for 30 minutes, applying more liquid as needed to keep the floor wet.

    • 3). Scrub the dirty floor grout with a nylon-bristled cleaning brush, working the liquid into the grout.

    • 4). Add more cleaning solution to the bucket if needed and dip a mop in the bucket.

    • 5). Wipe the mop over the floor to collect the lifted dirt.

    • 6). Rinse out the bucket and rinse the mop. Refill the bucket with plain hot water. Dip the mop in the water, wring out the mop and wipe over the floor one last time. Let the floor air-dry.
