Can I Invest in Stocks Without Risking Any Money?

Many people are afraid of risks. They always follow the safest possible way and try to avoid anything that could put anything important, like money, in situations where it can be lost. In the investment world this translates into savings accounts that yield nothing but are secure and government bonds, yielding just a little more.

In the case of someone who has always put money on these investments (if you can call them that), it is possible that one day he hears a person saying something about the stock exchange and then consider investing in stocks. The problem is that there are risks in equities and there is nothing certain in the stock market, even if you know how to invest in the stock market, the risks remain there, even if very small.

Those who invest in stocks soon realize that either they accept the risks or give up and go look for other types of investments such as real estate. But some do not accept the fact that they may lose money and therefore, attempt to find some way to totally eliminate the risks in all their stocks. They want to find the perfect tool to ensure a safe and peaceful journey on the path to financial success.

The problem is that this perfect and peaceful path does not exist. It is impossible to invest in stocks without risking at least a little. This is the nature of the business and it will never change. Whoever rejects the facts starts looking for a magical indicator or another technical tool.

And guess what? This indicator also does not exist.
And what happens? Bigger losses.

Thus the investor will be looking for the perfect tool and never find it. But he will spend much time and money trying to find it. When you realize you're delusional, you accept the risks but not entirely. Perhaps the investor get to risk very little, so little that he will sell their shares if they go down just 0.5%.

So what we learned from all this? The investor does not lose money but doesn't win anything either. But adding the brokerage fees, he starts to lose money, because he was to afraid to lose money. Funny, right?

That doesn't work because in the investment world, half-efforts are not valid. Either you accept the risks or you try to invest elsewhere.

So if you want to know how to invest in the stock market, know that you must accept the fact that sometimes you will lose money. Ultimately, if you let your good stocks in peace and get rid of the bad ones, even losing a little here and there, eventually the profits of the good ones will accumulate to offset any losses (and more) and you will reach your financial success.

So remember: do not accept that the path will be full of flowers. Remember, those who reject this fact will never succeed in the stock market.
