Portable greenhouses are easy to maintain, very convenient, and quite inexpensive for a greenhouse.
For small-time garden owners who want to grow and protect expensive medicinal herbs and marketable plant varieties, these greenhouses are perfect for them.
They allow the owner to be more flexible with regard to his garden arrangement, plus they can be stored and kept inside the house when not in use.
A portable greenhouse is entirely collapsible, and can be assembled and disassembled by the owner at whim.
Most of these types of greenhouses act like a camping tent, and can be easily transferred to other places if there is a need to.
If you want to transfer your gardening sites over to your dads house, all you need to do is to remove that plastic or synthetic covering, tear down the metal frames, and easily transport them in conveniently-sized packaging.
The tent-type greenhouses come in different shapes and sizes.
Most of them are barely the size of a small room, which can only handle several racks of potted plants.

Often called a row house, these types of greenhouses are shaped in a triangular fashion and include a zippered door of punctured fabric so you can tend to your potted plants inside.
Other portable greenhouses are more sophisticated-looking, coming in at exotic polygonal shapes yet providing the same functions.
Medium-sized greenhouses like these are often called flower houses because their usual function is to protect flowers from excessive, direct heat.
A person can slip inside the greenhouse and water the pots with convenience.
Types like these are usually made up of tough plastic but don't hold enough staying power as those using metal rods as a base structure.
Flower houses need to be kept away from areas with high winds such as a hilly location or beside a beach.
The flimsy structures might be blown away by the wind, leaving your flowers and plants at the mercy of the wind and elements.
It may surprise you, but there is such a thing called in indoor greenhouses.
These greenhouses are made up of thick canvas, and the insides are usually made up of white material.

There is also a blower and an exhaust fan usually built in with the materials so as to keep the air circulating.
These indoor types are also very portable greenhouses and are used to stock perennial plants during the winter.
