Baby Bluebird
When they're young, all three bluebird species look very similar with blue-gray plumage and heavy spotting to camouflage them from predators. Young bluebirds leave their nests several days before they can easily fly, and they will hop around the area and make short, awkward flights as they strengthen their wings. During this period, they still depend on their parents and will beg incessantly for food, and lucky backyard birders may see adults bring their young to visit feeders.
