    Diet & Nutrition

    • While diet and nutrition can certainly help prevent blackheads, they can also be useful in remedying them as well. Stay well hydrated by drinking at least eight 8-oz. glasses of water per day, and eating a diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables. In addition to eating fruits, there is also one you can use topically that will help open your pores to rid your skin of blackheads. Slice a lemon and squeeze a little to break the membranes that hold the juices in. Rub the fresh lemon over your skin and let the juice sit on your skin for a few minutes. Rinse in cool water, and repeat.

    Herbs & Spices

    • Visit your local health food store and buy some fresh fenugreek, some turmeric powder and some coriander leaf juice. Crush the fenugreek and add a little water to make a paste. Apply the paste to your face and allow it to dry for about 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Repeat this process nightly.

Mix 1 tsp. of the coriander leaf juice with 1/2 tsp. of the turmeric powder. Apply this to the blackheads on your skin. The paste will soon dry. Keep in on your face over night, then rinse with warm water in the morning.

    Baking Soda

    • Create a mixture of equal parts baking soda and water so that it is thick, but not pasty. Rub it on your face, especially in the area where you are plagued with blackheads. Wash it off with lukewarm water. This should actually help to extract some of the blackheads.
