Home Business - Can You Learn Something Then Use It To Change Your Life?

When my eight year old daughter came home from school one day in a bit of a panic I had to know what was bothering her. It was her homework assignment. She had to learn the names of all the planets in our solar system and their order from the closest to the sun to the farthest away. Erin did not even know what the solar system was never mind the name of the planets. I told her not to worry, got her some milk and told her to sit and relax and I would tell her a story.

I told her to imagine she was sitting in her favourite chair in her favourite room. Right in front of her was a great big ball of fire, so big she could not see around it and so hot she started to sweat (this was the sun). She took a thermometer from the wall to measure the temperature and the Mercury (the closest planet to the sun) burst out of the top of the thermometer and fell in little balls on to the floor.

Just then, the door opened and in walked the most beautiful princess she had ever seen, her name was Venus (second planet from the sun). Venus picked up a ball of Mercury and threw it high into the air. It went straight up through the roof, into the sky and came down in the garden, the earth (third planet from the sun). The Mercury hit the earth so hard it splashed mud on the neighbour's windows. The neighbour was furious and banged loudly on the front door to complain. Erin opened the door and there stood a little man called Mars(fourth planet from the sun).

His face was Red with anger (Mars is known as the red planet). He was about to punch Erin on the nose when a big, big man shouted across to Mars, leave her alone. It was Erin's friend and his name was Jupiter (fifth planet from the sun & largest planet). As Jupiter came closer, Erin could see he was wearing a white T-shirt with the letters SUN (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune - sixth, seventh and eighth planets from the sun) across the front. On top of Jupiter's head was Mickey Mouse's dog, Pluto(ninth planet from the sun).

Erin loved the story and I told her it a second time so she could tell her friends. Erin and all her friends not only remembered all the planets and their order but they will remember them for the rest of their lives and easily remember more about them in the future. If spending a few minutes listening to a story can help you learn and remember something for the rest of your life, then listening to how people built a profitable business using a step-by-step plan and how it changed their lives can inspire You to do the same.
