How to See if a Xbox LIVE Gamertag Isn't Taken
- 1). Open a Web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
- 2). Navigate to a Gamertag-checking website such as gamertagsearch.com, xboxgamertag.com or checkgamertag.com.
- 3). Type the name of the Gamertag you want to check and press the "Enter" key. After a few seconds, the availability of the Gamertag will be displayed onscreen.
