    Post Grant for Good Health

    • Post Foods LLC, in partnership with the National Wellness Institute, organized a grant program that is designed to offer financial support to one organization looking to boost health and nutrition advocacy in a particular community. Applicants must submit an essay detailing an advocacy or health education program to be considered for the $25,000 grant. Post Foods selects 10 finalists, and the grand winner is chosen by public vote. The grant is awarded to whichever organization has the most innovative idea for spreading health and nutrition information, whether that be through community projects, nutrition classes or fitness programs.

    Missouri Foundation for Health General Support for Advocacy Grants

    • The Missouri Foundation for Health is the largest non-profit healthcare organization in the state of Missouri. The goal of the organization is to provide Missouri citizens and communities with access to health services information. The foundation offers General Support for Advocacy (GSA) grants to non-profit organizations in Missouri that work in public policy and health advocacy on behalf of citizens in the state. The grants are awarded on an annual basis, and interested applicants can check in each November for updated grant information.

    Northwest Health Foundation Health Reform and Advocacy Grants

    • The Northwest Health Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on advocacy and grantmaking for health care initiatives in Oregon and southwest Washington. The foundation offers Health Reform and Advocacy grants that support local organizations in their efforts to expand health care coverage to citizens in the region. Grantees receive between $25,000 and $40,000 from the foundation to help finance their advocacy efforts. Some past winners of the Northwest Health Foundation Health Reform and Advocacy grants include a citizen health reform lobby, a school-based health care network and the Oregon chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
