Dry Vacuum

• The Green Machine has multiple functions, one of which includes dry vacuuming. If you wish to dry vacuum, make sure that the tank itself is dry. Then check the motor to make sure that it is clean. Pull the dry filter bag over the ball cage with the edge catching on the bottom, then put the ball on the raised area with the ball cage on over it.
  
  You will have a choice of dry vacuum nozzles, so after removing the aluminum clips and floor nozzle, attach the nozzle of your choice. Insert the tube into the tank and turn the device on. You can use the device until the tank is half full, when you will need to empty it.
  
  

Wet Vacuum

• To use the Green Machine as a wet vacuum, remove the dry filter bag if it is still there. Place the ball on the raised part of the tank again with the cage over it and put the tube into the tank. Use the bare floor tool for this task.
  
  Turn on the vacuum suction switch but not the pump switch or spray switch. The area where you place the device must be dry; vacuum as usual. If you are just picking up clean water with the vacuum, there is no need to use cleaning solution.
  
  

Deep Cleaning for Carpets and Upholstery

• Fill the solution tank with hot tap water after adding some cleaning formula. Fill it only to the water line. Put the cap on tightly and replace the solution tank back into the device. Next, remove the hose completely from storage and place the appropriate cleaning nozzle onto the end, making sure that it is firmly attached.
  
  Turn the power on and hold the spray trigger for a few seconds to start the spray. Raise the nozzle a bit to see if the spray is coming out; if not, you may need to adjust the solution tank. For tough stains, use a pretreatment. Put the stain remover on the spot for 3 to 5 minutes before cleaning. For deeper cleaning, add extra pressure to the nozzle and use the turbo brush attachment to reach the dirt that may be ground into the material.
