How to Make Graphs in "SigmaPlot"
- 1). Open SigmaPlot. Click the "All Open Notebooks" icon, which you can find in the "Notebooks" panel. This will open a drop-down menu. Click "New," and then click "Notebook."
- 2). Enter the data that you would like to be graphed. Make sure that each piece of data is in the right column and row on the spreadsheet.
- 3). Highlight all the data in your spreadsheet. The cells should be blue when highlighted.
- 4). Click the "Create Graph" tab at the top of the window. The "Create Graph" tab is between the "Worksheet" and "Graph Page" tabs.
- 5). Click the type of graph that you would like to select. This will open a "Create Graph" window. The options available to you will differ depending on what kind of graph you are creating. Edit the available options and then click "Finish."
- 6). Click the graph. This will open a "Object Properties" frame on the right side of the window. From here, you can alter several properties of the graph itself, including color and transparency.
- 7). Click the graph's title. This will allow you to type in a new title for your graph. You can also change the font, font size and formatting in the "Object Properties" frame.
