Wasps can take over parts of your yard and become a pest problem.
While most of the time they will leave humans alone, you might be concerned about them attacking you or your kids while trying to be out in your yard and enjoy it.
Find out some ways to kill wasps in the area so that you don't have to worry about them.
Wasps don't actually pose a threat to humans, but they can become territorial when they feel threatened.
They will try and sting anyone who they feel are too close to their nest.
Wasps and you aren't going to be able to get along.
One of the most common ways of killing wasps is using a spray.
Some sprays are fairly toxic like Raid and will practically kill wasps on contact.
Other sprays are a bit more natural and might not work quite as fast but still have the same result.
You can also make your own spray of fairly thick soap and water from a spray bottle.
This spray should be applied to the nests as this is the key of getting rid of wasps around your home.
The longer distance your spraying mechanism goes the better.
If need be you can knock the nest off with a long pole and spray the nest that way as well.
Be sure to protect yourself from the spray if it can't come in contact with your skin and protection from the wasps who might become angry at you when spraying their nests.
Another technique is to build a trap.
Take a milk jug and fill with soapy water that has some sugar in it.
This will attract the wasps and they will get inside the jug and have a difficult time finding their way out.
Leave this around the nests and hang by the handle up at least four feet off the ground.
