• The focus of the shower could be on the term "I dream of Baby," only use the baby's name if it's known. The invitations could say something to the effect of "Julie is dreaming of a new baby girl, and would love to include you in the baby's world." Ask each guest to write a note to the baby, letting her know what they dream for her. The notes could be collected and sealed in a lockable keepsake box for the baby to open at a later date, such as her 16th or 18th birthday.

• Use inspirational terms, such as "Dream and Believe," to center the shower around. This may create an uplifting ambiance in which the guests can share their dreams and beliefs for the baby. Use a garden setting, flowers, butterflies, rainbows, fairies or similar images to pull the theme together.
