    • 1). Assemble the towel bar as instructed by the manufacturer.

    • 2). Position the towel bar on the wall, where you want to install it. Rest a carpenter's level on the bar and adjust the position of the bar so it is level. Mark the positions of the screw holes in the hanging hardware by passing the tip of a pencil through each screw hole and marking the wall. Remove the towel bar.

    • 3). Drill holes through the wall at the marks indicating screw positions. The holes must be just large enough to transmit the wings of the drywall anchors.

    • 4). Fold the wings of the anchor together and insert one anchor into each hole so its screw hole is flush with the wall. Repeat to install a drywall anchor in each hole.

    • 5). Position the towel bar on the wall, aligning the screw holes in the towel bar with the drywall anchors. Use a drill and driving bit to screw the towel bar to the wall.

    • 6). Hang "S" hooks on the bar so the open end of the "S" is facing outward. Hang your pots by their handles on the open end of the "S" hook.
