    • 1). Examine the dash to determine whether it consists of one large piece or several pieces. Depending on the model, the pickup will likely have two or three separate pieces of plastic dash panel.

    • 2). Look for small gaps between the panels, and insert the flat-blade screwdriver into those gaps. Gently pull back the screwdriver, prying off that section of the panel. Repeat this process every 5 inches or so around the trim of that panel. Each panel should have several main connector points --- the best places from which to pry. You can are easily locate them through trial and error by moving the screwdriver around the trim. The places that don't pry off easily are the connector points.

    • 3). Continue to pry until the panel has become loose. Once it is "floating" on the dash, pick it up and remove it by hand. The dash will have several contours; take care not to damage it when removing it from the vehicle.
