Dell Axim X51 Features
- The Dell Axim X51 is a solid pocket PC powered by Windows Mobile. This device was released in 2005 and features the same sleek design of X50. It comes with the Windows Mobile 5 operating system and has a larger ROM that promises greater performance. Some of its features are CompactFlash Type II, Secure Digital, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microphone and speaker.
- Dell Axim X51 features a built-in CompactFlash Type II expansion slot that is responsible for accessing data quickly.
- The X51 operating system is the newest Windows Mobile 5 that is compatible with pocket PCs. Windows Mobile 5 is made for one-handed navigation.
- Dell Axim X51 also features built-in Secure Digital "SD," SDIO Now and MMC card expansion slots. These are flash memory cards used in electronics like cell phones and MP3 players.
- Dell Axim X51 has an available built-in 802.11b Wi-Fi, X51 Mid & X51v certification. Plus, it also features a standard, built-in Bluetooth 1.2 for a connectivity options. Most of the time, Wi-Fi cards (802.11b) are using Prism chip set, the kind of driver that functions with any type of cards.
- The X51 comes along with a built-in microphone, speaker and 3.5 mm headset jack. These features support voice recognition and will enable recording easily anywhere.
- The X51 has a 3.7-inch VGA LCD screen, VGA-Out functionality and Intel 2700G 3D multimedia accelerator. It also includes a 3.5-inch Quarter-VGA LCD screen for X51 Low & Mid Long-range IrDA interface. In addition, it contains up to 256MB Intel StrataFlash ROM with 64MB on-board RAM.
