How to Decorate a Bedroom in Turquoise & Brown Inexpensively
- 1). Use dark brown wood furniture in the bedroom. This furniture is widely available, making it easy to find at a bargain. Buy new furniture on sale or look for used furniture online or through garage sales and thrift stores.
- 2). Paint the walls to bring out the turquoise and brown look. Use a turquoise accent wall and paint the other walls a more neutral color, such as cream, or paint all the walls a bold turquoise. Use painter's tape to create brown and turquoise stripes on the wall by using the painters tape as guidelines on the wall. Alternatively, print out stencils and and use them to put shapes on the wall. Spray the stencils with a stencil adhesive and use a roller brush to paint inside the stencil.
