One of the reasons that can keep me from starting IncrediMail in a crammed commuter train is the "uuuueeelcome!" sound.

Fortunately, speakers can be turned off. And, for somebody who tends to forget to do that, it's even more fortunate that the welcome sound can be turned off once and for all in IncrediMail.

To disable the IncrediMail welcome sound:

• Select Tools | Options... from the menu.
• Go to the General tab.

• Click Sound Settings....
• Make sure Play Welcome sound is not checked.
• Click OK.
• Click OK again.
