The Sad White Lady

One day I was at my sister-in-law's house. We were all hungry, so we chipped in for some Kentucky Fried Chicken. It was about 7 p.m., just going on dark time. My cousin Harriet and sister-in-law Amber were sitting on the lounge couch watching TV while eating our meal. Harriet was sitting next to me. I was sitting facing toward the back sliding door. I happened to look out the door and there stood a white lady.

She was all white -- that ghostly, glowing look. Her hair and skin and clothes were all the same white colour. I couldn't really see her eyes or any other features, except her mouth: it was as if she was sad. This ghost clearly showed me that she was sad. Her mouth had that sad droop look, ya know when someone is sad and they form that sad mouth look.

Her eyes were just like a cloudy blur. She stood there for a good half a minute; it wasn't for very long. I turned my head away and told Harriet what I had just seen. When I looked back, the woman had disappeared. I couldn't feel anything around us; everything just felt normal. After seeing this ghost, I had wondered why I had to see her and why she came too me. It wasn't a scary ghost. It's just the thought that I saw one and why was she sad? The end!

Twelve months later, my cousin Harriet and I were living together in Auckland. We were having a party at a mate's house. Later in the night we ended up getting into a fight with some randoms.

After the fight, we decided to pack up and head home. on the way home, we stopped at KFC and scored us a munch. When we got home, we thought we better lock the house up, as we had the fight earlier on with them randoms, but one person knew where we lived. Thinking that person might tell the rest of them where we lived, we thought they might come to our house and go for round two. So to be safe, we locked all the doors and made sure the windows and curtains were all shut properly.

As we wound down, we decided to relax and have a munch of the chicken we brought. Harriet hopped into bed and I offered to dish up our dinner. I walked down the hallway and into the kitchen. I dished up our plates, tidied up the bench, grabbed our plates and turned for the hallway.

When I turned, I was facing toward the back door with my head down looking at our plates of KFC. When I looked up at the back door, that same sad white lady was standing at the back door. She just stood there, doing the same face she did the first time I saw her. I didn't stop, I just carried on walking with my head down to the room where Harriet was.

When I got in the room, I gave Harriet her plate and calmly told her that I just saw that ghost again that I had seen her before. She said to me that she could sense something around us. But I couldn't feel anything. We felt a little scared after a few minutes of talking about it, but continued eating our dinner. When we finished our feed, we were both too scared to take our dishes to the bench. No way was I going back in the kitchen.

As we lay in bed both thinking about the white lady and wondering why she seems too appear when we eat KFC, the kitchen cupboards started slamming around. The drawers started opening and closing loudly and nastily. We were both scared and knew what was going on in there. We knew no one was inside because we had locked the house up earlier on. We were too scared to sleep. We lay in bed all night struggling to stay up all night. We stayed up till daylight, then went to sleep.

Nothing else happend that night, but that was well and truly enough to scare the heck out of us. I would like to know if anyone else has seen this white sad ghost lady. I know it sounds crazy that this ghost appears when I'm eating KFC. I have had KFC many times since that and nothing has ever happened. I haven't seen her again, thank god! I don't know if it had anything to do with the KFC or if she just happened to time it right and show up when I'm having it. Right to this day, I still wonder why she appeard to me. Why was she sad? Why when eating KFC?
