Some Fantastic Music to Listen to While Doing Some Work

Often times when I work, I find that it helps to have some music on to stimulate my mind and get me in the zone.
Chances are if you are reading this article you also like listening to music while you work.
You have to be selective with what you listen to, however.
Too much noise or too many lyrics can be distracting.
These are some bands that I have been listening to recently that have helped get me in the zone.
When it comes to instrumental music, it is harder to find better albums to listen to than those of the band Ratatat.
LP3, in particular, is a great listen from start to finish.
If you are looking for an upbeat album to do work to, Antidotes by Foals is a great listen.
The guitarist uses a multitude of effects to create some intense sounds that get you going.
Another great upbeat record I have been listening to recently is "Dear Science," by TV On The Radio.
This is also one of my favorite albums of the year 2008, so it very well may be that I am biased with this one.
Forgiveness Rock Record, by the Broken Social Scene has recently jumped up my playlist.
Towards the end of the day, when you just need some "white noise" and are no longer looking to be kept awake by your music, give the Broken Social Scene album a listen.
Finally, "Treats" by Sleigh Bells is an incredible album.
It may not be for you though.
If you like loud noise that gets you in the zone, then check it out.
Take caution when listening to Sleigh Bells, as it is way too intense for most people.
If you do not enjoy music like this, you should definitely steer clear of this one.
Hopefully you can work some of these albums into your rotation and help your productivity and make your day more enjoyable.
