* Gestational Diabetes: This form of diabetes occurs in pregnant women who have never had diabetes in the past but may have high blood sugar level during pregnancy. This kind of diabetes differs from that of a pregnant woman who has been previously diagnosed for diabetes before getting pregnant.

Most pre-diabetic conditions are characterized by excessive and thirst, dryness of the mouth and unnecessary but serious tiredness. There is the tendency of a would-be diabetic looking dry and the clear evidence of colour change in them. These lead to dehydration.

This is one condition that demands for a careful interpretation by a medical personnel. If someone starts passing more urine than normal, the person may as well be tested for possible traces of diabetes.
