Writing articles for the web is slightly different when writing for newspapers and other traditional media as you're serving different audience and because you're using different medium.
It doesn't matter if you're a seasoned article writer or you're just a newbie in this field; here's a writing course that you'll surely find very useful when writing your web articles: 1.
First of all, keep in mind that your articles must start with a killer title.
This is very important so you will not struggle in grabbing the attention of your target audience.
Ensure that you only use powerful words and that you target the emotions of your readers.
This is what will drive them to take a closer look at your copies.

Lead paragraph.
One of the most common mistakes of both new and old writers is that they take their lead paragraph for granted.
They really don't exert effort to make it compelling.
You see, the danger in taking this route is that you'll instantly lose the interest of your audience the moment they start reading your articles.
Hold their attention and keep them interested by making your first sentences meaty and catchy.
3.
Writing format.
As your audience will read your articles through their computer screens, it's important that you make your copies easy on the eyes or readable.
This can happen if you use question and answer, how-to, and tips list writing formats.
Use bullet list or short paragraphs when discussing your thoughts and ideas.
Keep your sentences short and give your readers as many white blank spaces as possible.
