    Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Scholarships

    • If you attend Johns Hopkins, which is Michael Bloomberg's alma mater, inquire about the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Scholarship program. This competitive scholarship awards funds based on financial need, regardless of your major. The objective, according to the scholarship's goals, is to relieve a student from having to borrow cash to get a degree. Toward that end, Bloomberg Scholarships are renewable for three years.

    University of the Arts London College of Communication Scholarships

    • Bloomberg underwrites Bloomberg Scholarships, administered by the London College of Communications (LLC), to help qualified students undertake postgraduate study in the field. LCC scholarship administrators look for students with an ability to "make an exceptional contribution to the broadcast journalism industry." If you attend this school and you're pursuing a graduate program in communications, you can apply. LCC is particularly interested in conferring graduate school scholarships to ethnic minorities and talented students with "economically disadvantaged" backgrounds.

    Northwestern University's Bloomberg Scholarship

    • The Medill School of Journalism, in conjunction with Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, confers Bloomberg Scholarship awards on students with financial need from its campus. Students can receive up to $15,000 in tuition money to pay for five quarters of classes leading to a master's degree in business journalism.

    Johns Hopkins Global Health Bloomberg Scholarships

    • In addition to helping fund journalism and arts programs, a competitive scholarship program launched at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins offers graduate students in pursuit of a master's degrees in public health and science an opportunity to get financial assistance. Open to new domestic and international students, this 11-month, one-time stipend can't be renewed.

    Mayor's Graduate Scholarship Program

    • Michael Bloomberg's academic reach doesn't end at the college level. The Mayor's Graduate Scholarship Program provides scholarship opportunities for full-time New York City government employees who are considering pursuing graduate study. Applicants are required to write three essays describing their future goals.
