  Sharon is a town in the northwestern corner of Connecticut. It is located in a rural area that is popular for fishing, hiking, skiing and biking. The Appalachian Trail can be found a few miles east of Sharon, and several state parks are also in the area. Another attraction is the Lime Rock Race Track, which has auto racing and is 8 miles from town.
