The Vineyards Campground

• The Vineyards Campground and Cabins on Lake Grapevine is located about 12 miles from Keller. Campground guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities---including swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, windsurfing, canoeing and hiking nature trails. The campground has 71 RV and tent campsites with picnic tables; standard sites have water and electrical hookups, while premium sites also have sewer connections. Other amenities include bathrooms, showers, a pavilion, laundry facilities, an on-site store, and a golf-cart rental service. Guests can use the boat ramp, pier, docks and fish-cleaning area; boat rental is available. Other recreational amenities include horseshoes, a playground and a volleyball court. A variety of special activities, such as fireworks shows, are offered on weekends. In August 2010, rates for premium sites ranged from $35.70 and $42 nightly; rates for standard sites ranged from $28.80 and $32 a night. For those without an RV, rental cabins are available.

Fort Worth Midtown RV Park

• The Fort Worth Midtown RV Park is located in Fort Worth, about 16 miles from Keller. The park has 18 RV and tent campsites, which include water, cable TV, sewer and 30- or 50-amp electric connections. Some sites have outgoing phone service; guests can also access the park's free wireless Internet service. Other amenities include bathrooms with showers, a heated/cooled laundry room and a store with supplies and souvenirs. In August 2010, sites were $36 per night. Some off-peak discounts are offered.

Northlake Village RV Park

• The Northlake Village RV Park is located in Roanoke, about nine miles from Keller. The campground features 10 RV campsites, which have water, sewer and 20-, 30- or 50-amp electrical connections. The sites can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet long. Amenities include free WiFi, a laundry facility, covered parking, shade trees, paved roads and security lighting. The park does not have bathrooms. Pets are allowed if they are well-behaved and kept on leashes. In August 2010, rates ranged from $30 to $37 per night. Some discounts are offered, and weekly and monthly rates are available.
