  Beatty, Nevada is less than ten miles from Death Valley National Park, connected by State Route 374. Beatty has fewer than 2,000 permanent residents, but tourists come to the little town every year to visit the park and the area's casinos. Recreational vehicle travelers who want to avoid the congestion of Las Vegas and Reno can still play their favorite games in Beatty, which also offers several RV campgrounds inside the city limits.

• Beatty RV Park is a big-rig friendly campground offering 35 sites with 30- and 50-amp electrical hookups, pull-through spaces and wireless Internet. The park offers tent camping sites as well. The park has shower and laundry facilities, a dump station and on-site propane, as well as a fenced dog run for your furry family members. Guests can relax in the recreation room with pool and satellite TV in between gaming sessions. If you would like some fresh air and exercise, the campground has direct access to hiking trails. Horse trailers, fifth wheel vehicle and toy haulers are welcome. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available.
