DIY CD Favors
- 1). Make a list of the songs to be played during your party or event. Alternately, compile a list of songs that tell a story, like the story of falling in love and growing old with your partner. The first few songs could be about early love, while later songs are about raising a family and growing old after the children are gone.
- 2). Move the songs to a folder on your computer and arrange them in the desired order. Use your computer's CD burning program to burn the songs onto a compact disk. Windows Media Player, iTunes and other media players often offer CD burning capabilities at no extra charge.
- 3). Design a cover for your CD party favors. Choose a photograph, or keep it simple with text only.
- 4). Print your cover onto the paper of your choice and trim to fit inside the case. If you'd like, you can also print custom labels for the CD itself (available at office supply venues).
- 5). Place a CD at each guest's place at the table, or place them in a large bowl so that they can grab them on their way out the door.
