- The game includes more than 60 selectable instruments. Use strumming motions to play the banjo or guitar. Drum to play marching drums and congas. Play the piano or vibraphone by acting as if you are tapping keys. You do not need precise controls--you must only imitate playing an instrument.
- Nintendo released the game on Oct. 20, 2008, with a suggested retail price of $49.99, but it can be found for much cheaper. Four people can play the game at one time, and it is appropriate for gamers of all ages.
- In addition to allowing you to make your own music, "Wii Music" includes more than 50 songs on the disc to which you can play along. These include "Ode to Joy," "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and "O Christmas Tree."
