Teenagers all over the world are faced with the problem of acne breakouts. However, even people in their twenties, thirties, and forties can still get acne. For the most part, you will get acne on your face, back, chest, neck, upper arms, and shoulders. Blackheads, pimples, and whiteheads are all forms of acne.

There are many factors that contribute to acne breakouts such as bacteria, sweat, dirt, make-up, and excessive sebum oil. This means that to get rid of acne you must be focused on keeping your skin clean and reducing excess oil.

If you have acne you should wash your face with warm water and an anti-bacterial soap or an anti-acne face wash made just for people with acne-prone skin. I prefer products that contain tea tree oil because it has been shown to be effective in fighting acne. An astringent should be used to clean your skin and to help reduce the amount of oil on your skin. Afterward, use a mild, water-based moisturizer.

Keep your hands off your pimples whenever possible, squeezing or picking at your pimples will make your acne worse and can lead to acne scarring.

Mint, tomato, and cucumber juice can be used to treat your pimples. Just gently apply the juice directly on the pimples and leave it for about fifteen to twenty minutes, then wash it off with warm water. You can also use a facial mask of almond powder, rosewater, and milk to help prevent pimples.

Don't use oil-based make-up on acne-prone skin. This includes concealers, some of which can lead to more severe acne.

You also need to improve your diet as part of your acne treatment. By eating a balanced healthy diet, you not only improve the health of your skin but also the health of your entire body. By using a mixture of internal and external care you will be able to beat your acne and pimples.
