How do I Remove a Mud Flap on a 2005 Tacoma?
- 1). Lift the Tacoma with the jack and put it on jack stands so that all four wheels are off the ground. Take off the wheel next to the mud flap you want to remove using the tire iron.
- 2). Remove the plastic clips securing the mud flaps to the fender trim using the flathead screwdriver to pry out the center of the plastic clip. Then pull the clip out of the fender.
- 3). Unbolt the mudflap using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket, then pull the mudflap carefully away from the body.
