Self-Cleaning Litter Boxes Are More For the Owner Than For the Cat

Many times an owner will forget or do not want to clean the litter box which for cats need it done daily.
What can make the task much easier for the lazy owner? Invest in one.
Yes! It'll cost you some money (I was at PetCo last week and saw 2 that was going for $199 and $159 respectively, whereas a plastic one will cost less than half that.
) But it's worth it if you really detest cleaning a litter box or are just suffering from amnesia.
How does one work? When your cat walks into the box a motion detector sets off a timer, which in turn signals when the cat has done something then minutes after it's finished, a mechanical rake will run through the litter and pull the waste into a tray for easy disposal.
The only thing you as the owner need to do is switch the used tray for a clean one.
Do this at least every week.
You should add more litter to the tray once every few days.
Simple! They work great with multiple cats and reduces the workload which in turn allows you more time to play with your pet.
Set up Very little set up is needed but you will need an electrical outlet or batteries to operate.
To cover or not to cover They can come with covers for privacy which some cats may prefer but is not needed for effectiveness.
