Coimbatore is a huge city, a metropolis to be very honest, which is threatening to burst open at the seams with a huge increase in the population. Earlier with the traditional industries at the forefront, there were only the indigenous populations mostly. However, with the advent of the automobile industry and the IT industry in particular, there has been an influx of professionals the likes of which has never been seen before. In order to counter this uncontrollable migration, the real estate developers and individual investors began to look for other avenues and areas that were suitable for the purpose of housing the extra number of people who could not be accommodated in the city limits anymore.

Walk into Vadavalli

Essentially an agricultural town, there had been nothing much of import in the area except the proximity to famous temples which brought in some tourists for the seasons. The town was largely an agrarian society with simple and uncomplicated lives. Then with the real estate attention which highlighted this sleepy little village into popularity from the relative anonymity it had before that. The land was cheap and the weather very pleasant, which suited both the developers and the end users equally well. So they both decided to join hands and turn the little hamlet into the perfect realty destination.

Available facilities

As already mentioned above, the facilities had been quite limited before the land demand grew. Now apart from the great roads, which are a signature of the state of Tamil Nadu, there are the greater connectivity with the Coimbatore Airport and the railway station, as well. The closest railway station would be about 9 km from the town and the bus stand at Gandhipuram is about 19 km away from it. There are colleges and schools in and around the locality; moreover, the city of Coimbatore is quite close so that is also very convenient.

Deciding factors

The town doesn't lack for the basic facilities or amenities required for any city. There are proper drainage systems and an abundant reservoir of groundwater. The river Siruvani, which is used to supply potable water to the city of Coimbatore, is also just 35 km away. The population of the area is quite low, about 50000 in number. This helps to keep the town uncluttered and with lots of space. As already stated it is well connected to the three railways stations of the Coimbatore city and also the airport which makes it easier to travel outside the city and state for the inhabitants. There is no particular industry that is undertaken here except for agriculture. The prices of the locality can vary between Rs.3300 and 3700 for a square foot, which is quite lucrative and beneficial for those who wish to invest in property in Coimbatore.
