Two Australian Miners And One Dover Cop Give Us Terrific Lip Dub Videos

Just a few months after a Delaware police officer performing a funny lip dub of Taylor Swift's hit song "Shake It Off" in his squad car went seriously viral, a new lip dub clip has taken the web by storm.

Australian miners Jamie Byers and Jason Allen work in Pannawonica, Western Australia. Their work keeps them apart from their loved ones, so they decided to have a little bit of fun by performing a synchronized dance and lip sync routine while driving to work on Valentine's Day, 2015. Last year, Byers created a similar video using Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It," but that video didn't get much online attention. This year's video, however, exploded almost the minute it hit the web.

Byers and Allen chose perennial favorite love song "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" by Whitney Houston, and just like last year, Byers uploaded the video to his Facebook page. Little did the pair know that within a few days time, their thirty second video would be shared by 25,000 Facebook users and viewed almost a million times.

It's always fun to see burly working men getting their groove on! Thanks for making us smile, guys.More »

Speaking of tough guys belting out pop tunes, a few months before the Aussie miners went viral everybody was talking about the Dover, Delaware cop whose impressive rendition of Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" was discovered on his dash cam recording.

Master Cpl. Jeff Davis said he knows the pop song quite well, thanks to his ten year-old daughter. Known as the department's "class clown," Davis had what seems to be tons of fun rocking out and lip syncing to the Swift song. A few months after it first hit the web, the video has been viewed on YouTube an astounding thirty million times.

Thirty MILLION TIMES.  Wow.

I've got to admit, the reason this video is so awesome is because we all look just like this when singing that song, don't we? Actually, I only hope I look half as cool as this cop does while getting my T-Swift on.More »
