Elmo Party Invitation Ideas
- If Mr. Noodle feels like a close family friend and you're starting to wonder if goldfish really do talk, you must live in Elmo's World along with your toddler. The red, furry monster is a hit with the preschool set, and an Elmo party will be a blast for your child and her small friends. Get creative with the invitations to excite the kids before they step into Sesame Street for the day.
- Create a cute Elmo invitation by cutting an oval out of red construction paper or card stock. Use construction paper and googly eyes to make Elmo's facial features. On the back of the invitation, write the party details. If you're feeling really inspired, glue some red fur on to Elmo's face. This can be found at craft or sewing stores.
- Elmo's best friend is his goldfish, Dorothy. Make a Dorothy invitation by cutting a fishbowl out of blue construction paper or card stock and cutting a fish out of orange paper. Put Dorothy in the fishbowl and either put the party details above her head in a bubble, or on the back of the fishbowl.
- Find an image of Elmo on the internet and print it out. Cut the image out and paste it on your card stock. Decorate the invitation with hand drawn balloons and Elmo stickers. Write the party details on the back and use some fun wording such as "Join us in Elmo's World for a fun party."
