From the catalog:
Our Twin Winton Company is 30 years old. For the past dozen or so years, we have concentrated our efforts on becoming known as our country's best manufacturer of ceramic cookie jars. Each of you know that we have been extremely successful.
Now, with the advent of our Country's 200th birthday, (and in appreciation), we have developed an entirely new look to a portion of our line and have named it, "The Collector's Series!".
Superbly hand-crafted and hand-painted, each of the 18 jars pictured in this center-fold was carefully chosen to be included in this new series. We trust that you will like them for we honestly feel that, in the year 2074, they will each be considered an '"Antique" and be appraised at over $2,000. Please buy now . . and save!
