How to Block SP2 for Vista
- 1). Download the Windows Service Pack Blocker toolkit from the Microsoft support website. Connect to the tool blocker web page, included in the resources section. Click the "Download" link on the website to download to file titles SPBlockerTools.EXE. Save the toolkit to an easily accessible folder on your computer.
- 2). Navigate to the saved file and launch the application. The tool will open a window requesting a hard-drive directory location for extracting the needed files to. Type a directory path into the extractor window or click "Browse" to navigate to the desired extraction directory. Click "OK" to extract the files into the chosen directory.
- 3). Change to the extraction directory and launch the file "SPBlockingTool". A window will open on your screen stating "Action Successfully Completed."
