Define the Star While Drawing

• 1). Select the "Polygon" tool. If the "Polygon" tool is not visible, press on the "Rectangle" or the "Circle" tool until the available fly-out tools appear, and then choose "Polygon" from the among them.
  
  
• 2). Begin drawing, but do not release the mouse.
  
  
• 3). Press the space bar and tap the up arrow key to increase the number of star points or tap the down arrow key to decrease the number of sides.
  
  
• 4). Press the space bar and tap the right arrow key to increase the percentage of the star insets or tap the left arrow key to decrease the percentage of the star insets.
  
  
• 5). Release the mouse when you have the desired star appearance.
  
  

Pre-define the Star

• 1). Double-click on the "Polygon" tool.
  
  
• 2). Enter the number of points in the "Number of Sides" box.
  
  
• 3). Enter the percentage of the star insets in the "Star Inset" box.
  
  
• 4). Draw the star.
