Switching a SIM Card

• 1). Fully charge both handsets before switching the SIM card from one phone to another.
  
  
• 2). Remove the battery covers and batteries from both phones.
  
  
• 3). Remove the SIM card from the SIM card slot in the first phone.
  
  
• 4). Write the number on the back of the SIM card. You will need this number if you are required to activate the second phone.
  
  
• 5). Write down the International Mobile Equipment Identity, or IMEI, number on the sticker underneath the battery.
  
  
• 6). Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot on the second phone. Replace the battery and battery cover for this handset. Power on the phones.
  
  

Activating a SIM Card

• 1). Contact your wireless provider by phone to activate the SIM card.
  
  
• 2). When prompted, give the customer service agent your SIM card number and the IMEI number for your phone.
  
  
• 3). Provide any other account information required.
