One of the symptoms of a gallstones attack is very similar to acid reflux.
These attacks are sudden, painful and can cause some confusion that the acid reflux attack is connected them.

The other option is to have surgery that removes the gallbladder.
This provides the patient with very slim chance of the gallbladder stones reoccurring.
There are no real negative side effects to having your gallbladder removed.
It comes down to the similar symptoms between having acid reflux and gallbladder stones.
The pains can lead you to believe that the two are connected.
