Guide Review - Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner Review
August 30, 2010
The Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner did a very good job of removing fingerprints, grime and grease from my stainless range, refrigerator and microwave. While some stainless cleaners require a lot more scrubbing, Weiman works harder and there's less effort required to get a clean, streak-free polished shine.
I used a soft dry cloth to spread it and just turned it over to a dry side to lightly buff. The cleaning solution dried fairly quickly and buffing was easy. It removed (water) drips on the range front more quickly than my current favorite brand.
Though the Weiman Stainless Steel Wipes are convenient for quick touch-ups, I prefer the trigger spray bottle - you can more value for the price.
I find it also does a better (and quicker) job when fingerprints and grime are excessive.
I've tried this stainless cleaner on the chrome trim of the wood heatstove and the outdoor stainless barbecue. It required much more scrubbing to get them partially clean - granted they have more build-up of grime. I prefer this cleaner more for the kitchen appliances.
