As I cling to the edge of my soapbox, I recollect that soap itself is a contaminant that contributes to earth's continuation of having to stress against its balancing a polluted environment.
The dollars that consumers spend on laundry soaps and chemical cleaners is spiraling out of site, while the contents of these products are both harmful to our earth and not necessary when you discover what we are paying for.
It was an eye-opener to me to discover that the majority of the ingredients in these products are designed to change the tension of the water which in many areas is hard or polluted.
