Do You Know About the Quality Difference in Fish Oil Tablets?

Fish oil tablets have a great difference in quality.
This is because there are a lot of cowboys in the fish oil industry.
Some of the companies buy their oil from overseas and the oil travels long distances.
Sometimes the oil starts to go rancid.
This does not bother the cowboys, they just add flavor to it.
Not all fish have the same amount of omega 3 DHA and EPA in their flesh.
But some companies use the fish that are low in omega 3 anyway.
Unfortunately these low quality products probably make up the majority of fish oil products on the market shelves.
They are cheaper to produce.
Another thing you need to watch out for when you go to buy your fish oil tablets, is that the oil has been purified using a process called molecular distillation.
This process removes the impurities such as lead, mercury and PCBs etc, and gives you oil that is the purest you can buy.
Just remember, if you do not buy fish oil that has been purified, you will be ingesting the toxins mentioned above.
Some companies put out an oil that is higher in EPA than DHA.
This is because EPA is cheaper to process.
But DHA is the most potent Omega 3 fatty acid, so when you go to purchase your Omega 3 supplement, make sure that DHA is the dominant fatty acid.
The company that I recommend sources it's fish from the deep, cold pristine waters of the Southern Ocean off the coast of New Zealand.
The fish they harvest their oil from are the Hoki, a species that are native to those waters, and naturally high in Omega 3 fatty acids.
They process the Hoki close by to where the fish are landed.
This ensures that the oil is fresh.
To make sure the oil stays fresh until it is put into soft gel capsules, the oil is kept under a blanket of nitrogen at two degrees Celsius.
This manufacturer guarantees that if his oil makes you burp he will refund your money.
He is sure of the freshness of his product.
I hope this article on the quality difference in fish oil tablets has been of some help to you, and you now know what to look for in a quality fish oil.
