How to Calculate the Center of a Triangle
- 1). Write down the following equation: x = (Ax + Bx + Cx) / 3 and write down the three x values of the points of the triangle from the Cartesian graph. Then divide this value by three.
- 2). Write down the following equation: y = (Ay + By + Cy) / 3 and write down the three y values of the points of your triangle. Divide this number by three.
- 3). Mark the point on the Cartesian graph of the two points you wrote down; they are the x and y coordinate values of the center point of the triangle.
