How to Install an Intex 15X48 Pool
- 1). Clear a level area where pool will be located of rocks, sticks or other sharp objects that might puncture the vinyl when the pool is filled with water. Spread a ground cover on the ground for added protection. Unfold the pool on the selected location; do not install the pool on a patio or deck. Orient the drain plug toward your anticipated draining area.
- 2). Flip the top ring over so that it is outside the pool. Inflate the top ring with a hand pump until it is firm enough to define the sides of the pool. Do not use a high-pressure air source like an air compressor to inflate the ring, because you risk overinflating and bursting the tube.
- 3). Ensure the drain plug is secure and that any filter connections have been made. Add 1 inch of water to pool and check to ensure pool is level. If the water runs to one side, move the pool to a different location. Smooth any wrinkles or folds that remain in the bottom of the pool before continuing to fill the pool. Fill the pool until the water reaches the bottom of the top ring.

Spread a ground cover on the ground before unfolding the pool for added protection. Unfold the pool on selected location; do not install the pool on a patio or deck. - 2). Start at any location around the pool and slide a horizontal beam into the sleeve at the top to begin assembling the pool frame. Slide one end of the beam into a T-joint and secure it with a pin. Continue this process until you have assembled the loop around the top of the pool. At each T-joint, slide a leg through the belt around the side of the pool and then insert it into the leg of the joint. The legs are secured in the joint with spring-loaded pins. Complete the frame assembly by adding leg caps to each leg.
