    • 1). Highlight the text, image or button that you want to turn into a hyperlink. Left-click with your mouse, and drag the cursor over the desired object while holding the button down. The background will turn a different color--typically blue--if you have done this correctly.

    • 2). Right-click with your mouse cursor pointed over the highlighted area, and select "Action Settings" from the dropdown menu.

    • 3). Select the tab that says "Mouse Click," and click the circle that says "Hyperlink to:."

    • 4). Click the appropriate option for what the hyperlink will link to. If you are linking to another document, you will need to select the document from your computer when prompted.

    • 5). Click "Ok" at the bottom of the menu when you are finished to save your new hyperlink.
