How Do I Clean Nail Polish From Leather Sofas?

    • 1). Use an old towel that you don't mind staining and blot at the nail polish to absorb as much as possible. Continue until the towel comes up without any nail polish on it.

    • 2). Let any remaining nail polish dry thoroughly.

    • 3). Apply some nail polish remover to a clean cotton ball and dab at the remaining nail polish. Do not saturate the cotton ball, as too much nail polish remover will stain the sofa further.

    • 4). Let the area dry. If any nail polish is left, dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and rub lightly over the area. Allow to dry thoroughly.

    • 5). Wipe the area with a clean, slightly damp rag. Once dry, apply a leather conditioner, available at most hardware stores or general home retail stores, to soften and recondition the leather.
