All of us have heard empowering stories about how the guy next door became a millionaire using the internet as a vehicle. We have also heard amazing stories about how quickly some people become millionaires. It is atrociously staggering. They have done this at a speed almost unheard of 10, 20 years ago... the truth is that it is possible because the internet and ecommerce has made it possible for you to market your product on a global scale. You can do this at an amazingly low cost compared to if you had done it 20 years ago. Here I will give you a step by step Guide on how you can turn your passion into lifetime streams of income.

# 1 Identify where you true passion lies.

Many self-Made millionaires confess that it is because they are doing what they love that brought them tremendous wealth. So you have to ask yourself. What would I do even if I didn't get paid?
If I had all the money in the world? How would I be spending my time?
Or you can even ask the people close to you... what they think you love to do...you could get a few more ideas.

#2 Find a niche market. (A market which is hungry for your product)

After you have a general idea of where your passion lies, you have to find a niche market. The reason is very simple. A niche market is still a huge market on a global scale. If you compete on a general topic, the chance of your succeeding would be low as you will be competing against the big boys.

Say, for example, that your passion is fly fishing. Then you need to focus all your efforts on becoming an expert and offering a unique view of fly fishing.

#3 Find / Create Products and Income Streams

Tip: If you are going to create a product, if possible, make it a digital product.
The reason for this is that there will be low or no inventory compared to a physical product.
You do not have to worry about inventory, packaging or shipping.
Sell other people's products. - (affiliate marketing)
If you have little or no money to begin with, this is the fastest and most efficient way to start. It is basically a turn key business. (to find out more, look at my other article which is entitled: the how-to in choosing a good affiliate program)

#4 Design and Build your Website.
Find yourself a web hosting company, there are plenty of them out there. Some charge a low monthly fee and some are completely free. It is up to you but, if you pay monthly fee, you are more likely to get extra features with your site. The ability to send and receive emails is probably a necessity. If you are selling a product that requires online payment, you would have to get yourself a website that offers this facility through paypal or clickbank.

The next step is to start creating content in the form of interesting articles, tips and tricks and product reviews. If you want people to come to your site and buy your products, you have to get their attention first. The other thing you should do is to find out about link building-without incoming links the search engines will have trouble locating your website and it will not get ranked. This is really important if you want to get traffic to your website.

#5 Create compelling sales copy that can convert sales.
Sales copy is basically the life-blood of your website. A good sales pitch makes us want to read on. Surveys have shown that poor sales copy will turn the reader off and they will click off within 10 seconds of looking at the website. But don't just give them a sales pitch. Give them some free and interesting content to read and they will come back to your site. This is the way to get paying customers.

#6 Set up an Order system and payment system.
You do this through systems such as clickbank and the like. Make sure that whatever website you have chosen will do this. Not all websites, especially the free ones are set up to take this facility and accept credit card payments - make sure that yours does. Then, when your customers get all excited about your company and products, you will have a secure and safe way to process their order, e.g., Robust. Or Paypal

#7 Drive Traffic to your website.
There are two ways to start getting traffic to your website. The first is key word optimization - where you find out the highest ranking keywords for websites similar to your own. You can get specialized software that is not too expensive that will do the work for you when you put the keywords in. The second thing you need to get involved in is link building. Look in the open directory for sites that connect with what you are doing and approach them to see if they will exchange links.

Today there are thousands of businesses selling the same products. You have to be proactive and go out and identify your target and find ways of attracting customers.

#8 Build a relationship with your client until they buy.

When visitors enter your website, create an Opt-in List so you can follow up with them until they buy from you. Most sales only occur after at least 4 to 5 times of contact.
SO send them regular emails once a week, once a fortnight or once a month. There are also automatic email follow up systems widely available on the market today.
