How to Play Wii Backups
- 1). Put the SD memory card featuring the game you wish to play into your Nintendo Wii. The SD card slot is located under the flap on the front of the Nintendo Wii.
- 2). Power on your Nintendo Wii console and highlight the "Wii" icon on the bottom left of the screen, then press "A." Select "Wii System Settings" and then click on "Wii System Update." The Wii will update to the latest firmware. You must have firmware version 4.0 or higher to utilize the backup files.
- 3). Return to the main menu of the Wii. Next to the "Wii" icon is an image of a SD Card. Click the SD card image to bring up all saved backup game files.
- 4). Select the game you wish to launch and press "A" on your Wii Remote. Select "Start" from the next screen to launch the game. A blue progress bar will appear and fill as the game is loaded on your Wii.
- 5). Press the blue button in the center of your Wii Remote to exit the game and return to the Wii menu. The game will remain on the SD card.
