How to Convert an MV4 to MPG
- 1). Go to the Handbrake homepage (see Resources) and download the latest version of the Handbrake software.
- 2). Open the Handbrake application by using the Dock on a Mac or the Start menu on a PC.
- 3). Navigate to the location of the MV4 file that you wish to convert to MPG format. Highlight the file and click "Open."
- 4). Click on the "Browse" button in the main Handbrake window and choose a name and location for the converted file.
- 5). Select "MP4 file" as the format type and "MPEG-4 Video" as the video type.
- 6). Click on the "Start" button at the top of the Handbrake window to begin the conversion process. Depending on the size of the file, the process could take up to an hour to complete.
